Substance Abuse


GEOVISION‘s long-standing partnership with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health’s Bureau of Substance Abuse Services (BSAS) has been critical in the prevention of substance use among youth. The success can be attributed to GEOVISION‘s careful research exploring the young audience’s attitudes, knowledge and behavior, combined with creative strategies that engage them and speak to their needs.

In partnership with BSAS, GEOVISION has addressed such issues as underage drinking, inhalant use among youth, and the prevention of prescription drug misuse. In addition to youth, target audiences have included parents and a variety of cultural and ethnic groups.
